Event Description

The Austin Runners Club hosts its 31st Annual Daisy 5K presented by Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. Traditionally a women's only race held on Mother's Day, this race has evolved to include male runners sto that women can run with their families and to change the date so that everyone can relax with their moms, grandmoms, and kids on Mother's Day.

Daisy still offers special amenities that moms will enjoy, like free child care during the race, a stroller division, and a separate women's only start.

The Daisy Kids K is for kids of all ages. Parents are welcome to run with their children or along the side of the course.
